TATA TO ACADEMIC LIFE

Hmmmm....

i guess many people step into our life knowingly or not.... some for a moment, or may be for a span of period (which we all call as season) or maybe for quite a bigger season... a lifetime....to teach us, to help us to grow, to make us laugh like crazy,to give us unbielivable amnt of joy …but one thing is for sure whoever comes to ur life is definitely has his or her own importnce n significance (of course thats why those pepole are into ur life with so called purpose)

On 4th August 2008, when i got into my PG college there came some really good persons in my life for a lovely season..... a season i would call an ATHARVA season
Sanil, a first guy I met at college while taking admissions, Makrand, who was sitting next to me on the very first day of the college.
As the lectures started… Ashwini and Vikita the duo were the among very few girls wid whom I was talking…
Ananya and Shrikant…. The 2 totally different personalities with whom I gave the first presentation of my life….(Of course me being the 3rd weirdest among the group ….hehehe) well frnds thanx for tht…It was really very good experience to give presentations wid you people.
As the time passed got to talk to many other classmates, came close to quite a few friends… Well obviously the first in the list has to be NIKHIL….(really a helpful guy…. I mean u know u can always rely upon him for any help… I mean call him my wife, my friend anything but yes… but 1 thing I can assure u is tht he would always be there helping you out) an irritating, a helpful, a pure friend.. u can add any of the adjectives for him…one thing I surely admired about this guy is his GK…. Really he has good amount of knowledge.
BHUSHAN, he also became friend of mine right frm the first day in college, was sitting wid me and nikhil. I still remember how he used to share his tiffin with us in those initial days…. (And then turned out to be real bhukkhad … saala baaad me sab ke tiffin yehi khatam kar deta tha…grrrrrr…) hehehehe. I bet u people .. just beat this guy in eating… really have an elephant’s appetite. A wanna be IPS….a pure friendship material.. DEMOLISHING..... Constructions...or environment

well polution in our city is always on peek. And if u can see anyone least bothered are ....us.Everyone talks about ..'one should do this and that so and so...' but no one really makes an attempt to atleast give it a try themselves. One of the very good example would be my experience on this sunday afternoon itself.
It was sunday afternoon.. around 4 pm. the last sunday of may..... you can imagine what would be the climate. it was dam hot and humid. and I really dont know what the hell on this earth made me to go outside at that time...Oh yeah...!!! I wanted to buy some hardware. On my way the road took me to the junction, where a truck with full of debris from the nearby demolition of old building, which was proposed site for multi-storied tower or may be the latest fad... some posh mall...
As it passed by it created the cloud of dust making the scene worse it also dropped some debris on the road. when i went further to see whats actually going on I could see dozens of more trucks/ dumpers lined up to carry more loads of debris. and the area was full of smog and dust. hahahaha, A child in me brought a weird imagination ... as if the site was on fire, and smoke spreading from its fire.
And one more big thing.....it was just next to municipalty office
to my own surprise nobody taking any discplinary action about it. If not at least some request asking for some solution .... i mean... accepted.... buidings would be demolished, debris would still come but gimme a break some... something that can be done..!!!
Well if I was in charge of the pollution control board, I would have passed a resolution that no buiding, construction would be demolished without dust protection like water sprinklers to keep the dust down, covering the trucks , wall copounds with tarpauline sheets etc.penalising the buiders, blacklisting them for not following the rules and guidelines.
I remember while I was in Goa, I was told the similar situation about mine industries and debris carrying truck. Civilians found pollution problems by the dustspilling from the open trucks carrying mining ores from the sites to port. Civilians were lately facing many deaseases because of all this so the people protested agaist it. The local government took the immediate action and stopped the transportation of these trucks. made a strict rule that the dumpers , trucks should be covered with tarpauline sheets while transporting such polluting materials. and thenafter the effect was good , the city was free atleast from ore spillage.
The roads ware also sprinkled with water to keep the dust low and down.
I think if government is for people then there must be a system from which the higher authorities in government can take complaints, suggestions from fellow civic bodies.
well I really dont know how this effort of mine is going to make difference on its own. but if someone is actually reading and is really concerned about the issue then please dont wait... your one step can make a difference.
